anthropologie invited us to curate a tree full of our favorite ornaments from their holiday collection. i was inspired by the wrapping paper to create a modern yet cozy feeling. mixing textures like glass, wood, and sheared fur keeps the tree sophisticated while incorporating houses, gnomes and snow globes adds a bit whimsy and nostalgia.
the brooks wrapping paper (made by wrapped la) was inspired by patterns that emerged on scrap paper when cleaning the plates on a printing press. i love the graphic, modern pattern mixed with the handmade feeling.
check out anthropologie's blog, the magazine, to read a bit more about our holiday traditions and links to each item included in our collection. you'll also find trees curated by artist molly hatch and blogger jordan ferney of oh happy day.
