while driving to the photo-shoot in nyc with a car full of old, rusty, doll houses, we could not believe this was happening. even with the magazine in front of me i have to pinch myself. yes, that's stephen and i in the february issue of martha stewart living, eek! we're also featured in the ipad issue, where you can see more photos and hear how we started collecting doll houses.
yes, we did get to meet martha... and she was really nice. however, i must admit that i was even more excited to meet the fritz karch. i adore everything about him: beard, glasses, print mixing... he's amazing. our photo-shoot was the same day as our good friend lisa congdon, it was so nice to see a familiar face when walking into the studio. we worked with quy nguyen, and erin jang who is absolutely gorgeous, crazy talented, and so very kind. BEST. DAY. EVER.
I have 1/2 doz or so plastic furniture for
an old dollhouse (crib, bathtup, table) I am
a senior and remember lovingly playing with dolljouse. Are you interested in purchasing?

How completely thrilling. I love your collection. You should post an entry of your houses lined up with the lights in them! Would love to see that :)

Hi Shauna! Thanks for leaving a comment at Madeline's Memories about the dollhouses. That was my last issue on my subscription to MSL, so I think it was fateful that you were featured in that issue. So glad I discovered you!

Hello there. I've recently stumbled upon your blog and really enjoy it. I was given a 'Stylish Blogger Award' where I had to say seven things about me and share fifteen new blogs I like. Your blog is one that I have linked. You can take a look if you like and participate in the award but of course, you don't have to. Have a wonderful day and here's the link:

I read the article this a.m in Martha's Living and wanted to let you know how creative and clever you both are. You have such an incredible eye. I was also searching for a contact email to tell you that I stumbled upon two tin dollhouses like you have in your collection at an antique store in my town in Northern VA!! Finally, I will be in Philly in Feb and wondered if you have a studio or are displayed somewhere I could visit? Good luck to you both.

Saw it, loved it and I love your idea of putting little lights in all the houses to make it look like a street at night. Wonderful. Congrats!

I read this article and was so thrilled to see you guys here. Way to go! It has also inspired a mild obsession with tin doll houses...I had not discovered them before and now can't wait to get my hands on one or a few!! Seriously jealous of your collection.
