we're getting ready to make a special collection of bow ties for stag in austin. while on the hunt for inspiration we discovered this photo featuring a fella in a plaid bow tie. 

the very same day, we found a collection of plaid fabric remnants - all from the 1940's. so, here we go... the new FORAGE bow tie collection will be made entirely of vintage, plaid fabric.

i have to say THANK YOU to nancy. she knows how much i adore first aid kit so she invited me to spend some time with johanna & klara before a small lunchtime set. i'm happy to say they are quite lovely in person and their set was truly mesmerising. seeing them play twice in one day was such a treat.

so excited...

remember being really excited the night before a field trip in grade school? that's how i feel right now - the best part is that janelle knows just how i feel. tomorrow we get to meet klara & johanna of first aid kit. if you live in philadelphia, don't miss these crazy talented ladies. they'll be playing at johnny brenda's tuesday night. see you there!
