to celebrate my birthday, stephen planned a party in the forest - just for us! we ate delicious raspberry chocolate cake (with a plastic deer on top) and he made my very favorite drink, berry-herb fizz! it was perfect... thanks stephen!

birthday surprise...
i woke up this morning to a collection of pennants hung in our room... i'm a lucky girl!
luminhaus
i've been counting down the days until my birthday - mostly because stephen is taking me to luminhaus, a prefab home in the blue ridge mountains of virginia. it was built by an amazing couple, jennifer & barry, who did most of the work themselves. although it will be hard to beat chris & sarah's prefab, lost river modern, we're excited to see an LV home by architect rocio romero.
