while in nyc this weekend (to see the armory show) we took a detour to visit the new york public library. we're planning a new project based on my library obsession so stephen and i went to find inspiration at the main branch in midtown manhattan. the interiors of this 99 year old building were unbelievable.
my favorite part was finding a section of books with handmade paper jackets in the "united states and local history division". stephen peeked through a window of the "map division" storage room and could not believe the piles and piles of maps (not to mention a few globes that would fit right into our collection). to see more photos of our field trip to the new york public library, click here.
alissa and ryan of shop HORNE asked us to guest write their monthly design sponge feature, "behind the bar". we decided to share a drink that stephen made for me, inspired by all my favorite ingredients (mint, raspberries, blackberries, lemon, prosecco, and vodka). click here to see the post and find out how to make our "berry-herb fizz".
